Post 1: New ÖLN measure "cereals in wide row" in winter wheat and contract cultivation of white oats.

In 2023, "cereals in wide row" will be included as a biodiversity promotion area type. The measure supports the promotion of brown hare, skylark and field flora. This post will show how the measure was implemented on the Swiss Future Farm in winter wheat, what contributions can be expected, and what requirements apply. (Anna Brugger, Arenenberg)

Since 2022, Fenaco has offered cultivation contracts for the production of white oats. In a trial, the Swiss Future Farm is investigating whether the quality guidelines for contract cultivation are achieved. (Florian Abt, Arenenberg)

Post 2: Use of the Robotti robotic implement carrier for corn sowing.

In a wide-area trial, the Robotti autonomous implement carrier is used for sowing and hoeing silage corn. At the second post, the sown and hoed area is shown and the autonomous implement carrier is presented. (Roman Gambirasio, GVS Agrar)

Post 3: Drones for crop protection and fertilizer application, incl. demo

Drones can be used to precisely apply crop protection products in impassable terrain. The Swiss Future Farm trial plot will demonstrate how drones can be used for the application of crop protection products, undersown crops or fertilizer. (Nils Zehner, AGCO Corporation, Remote Vision GmbH)
